Marcus Walz built this bike for the Jordan Formula 1 team in 2000. It embodies for me the pure essence of the Walz Hardcore style.

Proportions that made me reminiscent of a Mattel Hotwheels toy, a paintjob of pimples with hairs growing out and a big fat "Boomcan" exhaust system . Yep, Russ Tom of Down Town HD Seattle was definitely walking to the beat of a different drummer. Sadly he died much to early (aged 46) in a helicopter accident in 2005.

Richard Sansone designed and built this bike with hydraulic suspension (that can rise up, or be dropped on its lower framerails by a flick of a switch), with the idea in mind to start a small series of these bikes for a wealthy clientele. Due to all the special fabrication (carbon fiber, chrome moly frame etc.) they would cost around 70.000 dollar. It did not work out! Great design, which in my opinion would have benefitted from a smaller headlight unit.

Confederates these days are known for their extreme designs, but I can not find them aesthetically pleasing.The America GT was a elegant machine with all the right High performance parts on it. A very good hybrid between a custombike/ cafe racer/ streetfighter.

Years ago I saw this video for the first time, and it still upsets me! These guys should be Icons!

Before Gard Hollinger went deep into his KR project he finished this super narrow streetracer. Love all the details like the side mounted oiltank and oilfilter under the saddle etc etc. Great designer and a real original!
