Frenchman Robert handcrafted most of the parts on this jewel out of stainless steel. It took him 7 yearsto complete. He took home most prices at the customshows that year, including Daytona 2001
In the mid nineties Jesse James made furore with some freshdesign ideas. El Diablo with its oval/ wing formed frame tubing was one of them.
I allready liked earlier work of Gard but in 2006 this bike really made me take notice of this masterbuilder who his currently finishing his new KR 1 project.
A bike that made a big impact on me when I first saw it in '76. A few years later it was rebuilt with a modified frame, new wheels, forks, brakes and repainted in the black/ goldleaf finish you see here.

Wyatt Fuller was contracted in 1994 as designer for Harley Davidson, but before that he succesfully ran his own shop called Razorback where he built bikes like this.
